 Please reelect Mayor Lapointe in Hallowell

 I am writing this letter in support of George Lapointe for reelection as Hallowell’s mayor. I appreciate that we have a mayor who works to improve the life of all Hallowell residents.

I have closely observed his work on the stability of the nonprofit Hubbard Free Library. While a staunch supporter of the Hubbard, he would not commit tax dollars without a clear plan to use the money wisely. I am impressed by George’s ability to listen carefully and ask important questions before beginning the decision-making process. He brings this style of leadership to all issues facing Hallowell.

He listens to residents. Mayor Lapointe is not the talker. He is an excellent listener. George truly cares about what others have to say and shines as a leader who works toward collaboration among the residents of Hallowell.
